Het Comedy Theater programmeert op de vrijdag Engelstalige comedy van hoog niveau tijdens de International Stand-Up Comedy shows. Ook leuk voor expats en toeristen, de Comedy Explosion speelt in het Engels, samen met grote namen van over de hele wereld. De afgelopen zomer heeft de Comedy Explosion oa de volgende internationaal bekende comedians te gast gehad; Tom Rhodes (us), Steve Hughes (aus), Nick Nickolas (aus), Thomas Smith (uk/be) en John Simmit (uk).

International Stand-up at the Comedy Theater in de Nes

Friday is international night with top stand-ups from Britain, Australia, Canada and the US.
All-English comedy shows specially for expats, tourists and those who prefer their laughs delivered in the language of comedy. A fast-paced laughter-packed evening with global appeal.

Comedian Lewis Black kicked off the opening of the Comedy Theatre in the Nes in april 2007. In less then one year time the theatre has become one of the hot spots of Amsterdam. As meeting spots for all Dutch comedians, fully booked comedy shows, party's which are the talk of the town and television recordings: it all happens in the Comedy Theater in the Nes.
